first: my site is temporarily DOWN right now - but you can see the google results for yourself. My site is very young, maybe 2 weeks, PR0 of course
I have a PR5 link on my links/resources page to (not related to them except thjat we do link exchange) www.incentaclick.com
So..on my links page i have terms like SEO, webmaster, resource etc.
if i go on google and search for "whois www.incentaclick.com" or "incentaclick.com seo" or whatever....it comes up with my links page on FIRST position in google.
Just because i have the term "whois" on my links-page (as you might be able to see in the cache, as said, site is down right this moment !)...and this URL...but somehow i think thats interesting.

Mainly it's because those aren't competitive terms, and the keyword sequence that you searched for must only return one singe exact match result, yours.
